This limited edition Vendôme piece was specially created for the GALERIE DOMINIQUE FIAT. The deep blues, brightly hued greens and turquoises of the carefully selected and re-worked peacock plumes are meant to be a contemporary 3D interpretation of the iridescent reflection of a puddle of oil/gasoline in the road on a rainy day. This piece simulates the process of “constructive interference”.

Maison Sacco Baret co-founder and artist plumassier Maxime Leroy, has been invited to present his work at the renowned GALERIE DOMINIQUE FIAT.
Leroy’s, work will include the highly acclaimed motorcycle in feathers commissioned for the Palais de Tokyo earlier this year, along with a special feather adorned limited edition Vendôme piece specially created for the Modern and Contemporary Art Gallery’s exposition titled— “ART & MECANIC”. Open to the public from September 8th – October 25th, 2016 in Paris.
À PROPOS DE L’EXPOSITION
«Art & Mecanic» présente une série d’oeuvres réunies ici pour traiter de la hiérarchie du pouvoir relatif à l’opposition machisme/féminisme. Les symboles virils «clichés», dialoguent avec des oeuvres d’artistes femmes, féminines et féministes et posent encore la question de l’hégémonie masculine dans nos cultures.
Par des gestes créatifs forts, les différentes oeuvres abordent la question du temps, du rôle de la femme dans nos sociétés en explorant les notions d’expérience et d’inconnu, c’est-à-dire ce qui relève du réel ou de l’illusion.
